Preheat the oven to 150° C or 300° F. Mix the butter, honey, vanilla extract and salt in a small frying pan over low heat until the butter is completely melted. Then set it aside. Chop the hazelnuts into small pieces.

Put the chopped hazelnuts in a bowl with the orange peel and oatmeal. Then mix them completely with the ingredients in the pan. Spread the granola on a greased bakery tray and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Note that you must take the tray out of the oven every 10 minutes and separate the agglutinative pieces of granola.

After 30 minutes, add the dates to the granola and place in the oven for another 10 minutes. Then let the granola cool in the room temperature. You can keep your delicious granola in a sealed glass container for 2 weeks.
