These date oat muffins taste great and they even taste much more better with a cup of tea or coffee. They are so nutritional due to Piarom dates used in the recipe. Piarom dates are rich in varieties of vitamins and minerals. So, these date muffins are a healthy and nutritious breakfast or snack for your children.
Date oat muffins
Delicious combination of old fashioned relled oats and sweet dates. The applesauce makes them extra moist.

 One cup all-purpose flour
 2 tsp baking powder
 ½ tsp baking soda
 ½ tsp salt
 One cup rolled oats
 One cup milk
  cup packed brown sugar
 2 egg whites
  cup butter, melted
 ¼ cup applesauce
 ½ cup chopped pitted Piarom dates

Preheat oven to 350℉ or 175℃. Grease a muffin pan or line with paper muffin liners.

In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in the oats, milk, sugar, egg whites, butter, applesauce and dates. Mix just to combine. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.

Bake at 350℉ for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a muffin comes out clean.
